About this tutorial
This tutorial is a fairly advanced one, even if you consider yourself a whizz at twitter or just marketing in general, there are some pretty unique techniques described in this tutorial many of which are my own personal techniques that I haven't seen described in any book, guide or similar tutorials.
This tutorial won't...
You won't become a star overnight, building an organic following takes time and requires effort if you follow this guide however you will get thousands of organic followers who will interact with you and take a good interest in your tweets and even your websites and services.
Choosing a handle
Your handle should in some way reflect the name of your brand or niche, it's not really too important but it shouldn't be something random at the same time for example if you are a health blog consider something like:
But don't make it too long though, you want it to be something that's easy to remember also.

Setting up your bio
Your bio is the first thing that other Twitter users will see when they go on your profile, It's also used by the twitter search engine so if you were to put recently trending hashtags in your bio then this will garner some profile views from other users and is also used for suggesting users with similar interests to you. You may wish to just include some information about yourself, however, this is not recommended as it will reduce the number of profile views that you get.
Building a following
The best way to build a following will always be by following other users with similar interests to yourself or users who are interested in broad areas, for example, if your twitter account was targetted towards people who had an interest in law enforcement it wouldn't be the brightest of ideas to follow someone who had an interest in selling drugs because both interests conflict with one another... That being said there are some areas were conflicting interests work well together, for example, A user with an interest in healthy food and a user with an interest in fast food, this would be a contradictive follow but someone with an interest in fast food might also be wanting to lose weight so could also be interested in healthy food.
Finding people to follow
So you want people to follow you back, but first, you need to follow them so that they get a notification which usually prompts them to follow you back.
WORK IN PROGRESS, CHECK BACK.
