appreciate it, might use it if I can't find another way 🤝
WeLeakInfo is the best one in my opinion. 5.6 billion records, over 1k databases, you can search multiple things like usernames and emails, you can use wildcards, and it searches through everything in less than a second. So certainly a good choice.

Did you read their privacy policy? They log all your searches and data. Last time a site did this when they were taken down all the people you searched for were contacted and LE spent time trying to find the person behind the searches. The arrest was in Canada but the US authorities got involved too.

Do not use WeLeakInfo.com unless you are looking to get into legal trouble. Even if you are honest, accessing this stolen data is a felony and now with the new CA laws being implemented all over the US and the EU you will end up in jail, MANY ALREADY HAVE.

I was about to use them but saw the warning on a forum the other day.

But they are also based in Seychelles which is in Africa. So the US don't really have control over it?

USA seems to have control everywhere

We've moved all our data to a more offshore country. Our data is in a place where US authorities have 0 jurisdiction over. You don't have to worry about the US gaining access to our data or the user data. All the user data in the database is also encrypted in an event of an SQL dump. We've taken all the precautions needed. As for our old competitors, their security was very lazy and sloppy. Their servers were exposed and they had servers in the United States and Canada. We aren't that stupid, I assure you.

The real question is if you're pro-anonymity why do you keep logs lol.

Because our Terms of Service states that you are not allowed to search any information that isn't yours or that you do not have permissions to search. Sometimes we get reports from victims asking us to take action from someone that utilized our services to harm them. In that case the search logs come in handy with us finding out whoever did what.

The only reason you or anyone would be worried about logs is if you are breaking our Terms of Service, which I guess you are intending to do. We don't have any verifications in place to restrict your searches, but in return we do need a contingency in case a breach of the Terms of Service happens.

That's not what our Terms of Service says. Doesn't matter what you think about it, the Terms of Service is there to protect us from legal trouble. All fault falls on the user.

Your not protected from anything. you are allowing users to subscribe to the site in order to get access to raw data, including passwords. Leakedsource used that same answer that we only host the data and look where they ended up. there is a reason haveibeenpwned.com is still up with no issues... cause they host NO passwords. all it checks is if email is included in breach.

Well we're not doing this for charity, we're not Troy Hunt.
