You shouldn't even ask yourself whether it is worth spending money on one award. You should ask yourself if it's worth supporting a member that has contributed a lot of key features to the forum.

He's helping the forum a lot and that deserves appreciation and support from other members.
Aside from that, if you're just interested in the award - it's hella exclusive so go for it! It's still a good deal
