Not true. Primary group can technically be changed, don't think Omni wants this though. They are both primary groups sure, but can be made secondary groups on any given user without affecting the actual groups themselves.

Ah, I just got this from what i read on the announcement post

I suppose R3KT would be a primary group also? To be honest I like that fact that UB3R will start to become "rare" once people start upgrading to r00t. Do you know if leaving the UB3R group will allow then to join r00t?

Rep was the biggest abuse. So that's done with. But I fear the mentality of Ub3rs may never change. My goal is to make them less and less important and weed out some of the bad apples in the bunch.

But existing users (Ub3rs) won’t have access to it?

Although I personally do not care that much to other UB3Rs who do care I can see it being unfair to them considering they are locked into UB3R and cannot purchase R00T from what I have read previously.

It's like a person buys a Samsung Galaxy S9 which is an alright phone but then the Galaxy s10 releases with more features and only new people are allowed to purchase the s10 and s9 owners are forbidden to purchase the s10, if that was the case then eventually you might see people switch to an alternative company in this case the Iphone.

Because some people may want access to new features that only R00T will have access too. Some people cannot settle for 99% and want 100% instead.

So I was kind of absent during the whole "Why can't Ub3rs buy R3KT" could someone give me a quick rundown? I only really want the group for the award, but at least from my reading Ub3rs won't be able to buy it. I understand that we need change and I fully support it, but what seems to puzzle me is that I want to support the site but can't buy another upgrade just because I'm in a manually approved group? I'm trying to read the original thread but its 33 pages long and all I seem to get from it is that HF is trying to diminish the importance of UB3R(Which frankly I personally never brought up my group in order to prove a point). I just like to support the site and its growth.

At the moment, it's said that there will be changes soon. Of course, naturally, there will be a lot of additions in the future as Omniscient continues to develop this usergroup.
I assume that he is only giving them permissions which he has tested to be secure so far, and will need to test any additional permissions before adding, but wanted to get the usergroup live (just a speculation).

I am not really protesting any decision as I already stated above I am fine with it it's just others may not be.

if u feel like supporting site with upgrades and stuff, u can always buy more awards, guess that helps also 🤣
