So my organic twitter has around 3% fake followers out of 10.2k followers if that's anything to go off - I've never purchased fake followers so I'm guessing they are either spam bots or false positives.

I could actually see Hillary supporters buying fake followers for her so that they could try to catch up with trump. A lot of them are really passionate about her.

The HF Twitter account says I have 55% real but I've never purchased fake followers or encouraged anyone to grant them to me. I believe bots may follow our Twitter account anyways.

Just saying that these audits don't mean very much imho.

But you could always look at this way, how many people on HF have offered these services and thought to themselves "I'll give the HF twitter a bit of free growth".

Seems fairly plausible that some if not a few people have done this.

Most "fake" accounts are usually just inactive. Those things are never accurate.

To be honest... all of these sites are straight BS and even if they aren't, it's probably wrong most of the time.
I'm sure donald trump doesn't buy any followers nor does hillary... pretty sure they count inactive accounts as "fake" followers.
