I've been removed from the staff team for reasons that I probably can't discuss.

That's up to you but be truthful. I normally respect privacy of members and ex-staff by not providing public reasons for Staff changes. IMHO it's really not anyone elses business.

And btw, thank you for the time you spent helping the community as Staff but I hope you continue to be part of the site and help members as you always have.

Staff can experience burn-out from months of dealing with the site. Also members can have their lives change where they may not be able to fit into their schedule the time required to assist in the community. Staff does take dedication.

In my honest opinion and I am not to sure how relevant it is here but I personally think that there needs to be some form of consequences for those proven to have taken part in a scam in any capacity.

Sad to see you off the staff team. One year and a half seems like a lot of time for handling users in the forum. Any cool anecdote you can share from your time as staff?

It's a mundane job but it's worthwhile if you can remain engaged in whatever's going on. I lost that and don't have any enjoyable experiences.

I held that same thought until months after my promotion. People see you in a different light, but at the end of the day it is impossible to be objective when handling related reports. Involving staff in scams would be detrimental.

You are one of few members who are genuinely honest and friendly.

Although we do not talk anymore and I am not that active on HF, I am sincerely grateful for the times I could rely on you for site knowledge, for the times I needed a trusted middle man, and for the few times we spoke to each other back in the day.
Hopefully you stick around the forum. It will not be the same without you if you go entirely inactive.
