If you refer a member to HF and they join with your referral link you will earn 100 Bytes. This is only for those eligible to earn Bytes and does not included regular non-upgraded members.

In USER CP you'll see "Refer A Member" link in bottom left nav. Click it to go here:

https://hackforums.net/refer.php?action=invite

That will give you a form to send a direct email invite with your link or on the page you'll see a link you can use to spread the love.

Anyone abusing this will face consequences. Referrals are logged and excessive 0 post referrals to suspicious accounts will be a problem. Accounts are required to be activated before you're granted the 100 Bytes.

Thank you.

This is pretty cool, Gonna have to go ahead and refer a bunch of people I know in real life since everyone I know online already uses HF ahaha.

This is awesome too bad my only friend has already signed up yet is not active at all

Fantastic use of the bytes to entice members to refer, I better get started lol

[WageWolf]

Time to send this to all of my IRL mates. :)

Weren’t referrals removed a while ago? I can’t remember.
Anyway, nice addition for more bytes and members.

Nice update Omni. Hopefully we can get some more peeps in here!

Gonna refer a few friends.

[Crust]

Not a bad idea hopefully this will bring in many active new members and make it a even more successful forum than what it already is and a easy way for people to earn Bytes.

[Omniscient]

Probably should also include a link to the referrers toplist.

It use to be a thing years ago, I remember it because I had like 50 lol.
Glad to see it's back with somewhat of a reward 🤫
