remove .exe icon

Not sure this is the right section but here it goes, so my rat has a custom icon even though I didnt choose one, it simply uses its default custom icon but I want to remove it so the process can mask with other legit processes in task manager, I know you can replace icons with Resource Hacker but I cant seem to remove its icon to the default .exe icon... I tried googling but all the results that come up are how to change icon and not remove. Thanks in advance.
So you want a iconless file?
Use Reshacker, simple and straight forward.

I did but idk how to remove icon, only how to replace
I don't think this is possible, never seen ann application without icon. maybe just make it white to blend in in your task manager?

what I meant is I want my .exe to have the .exe default icon and not the custom icon that my rat puts

What RAT are you using?
I'm not using HF much, expect long reply times.
My old XMPP ([email protected]) is dead, use [email protected] instead.
Yes, use resourcehacker as stated above. Very easy.
Detect it easy can do this. Just delete/malform the icon resource.
