Those who put hours and hours of work only to make very little money since bot farmers can do whatever skill in bulk & sell those items causing them to drop in value.

I already said in my previous post that it's wrong, but it's the reality of RuneScape. Luring people isn't good, but it's only a game. Also a good way to improve your social engineering skills that can help you IRL as well like in the work field so other benefits as well.
I've been lured back in the day like 2013 ish times so I know how it feels. I worked 3 years only in f2p and had bills from my own work only for someone to take it away, I was in rank in r quark (rare items pc cc - I would flip lowers n phats). Been on both sides of it I guess so it's not too bad. People can move on. I was super super sad for a while after I got lured (like super long man...I quit the game for years). Then turning into the lurer myself really helps to see the other side of it. It's hard to explain idk man, you just gatta have an open mind. We can agree to disagree.

Some increasers I know have made ~50k thus far into the year, and some lures have made similar amounts. I lure on and off and been about 15k since I don't have as much time as others. I know some other lurers who've made that what I made thus far in a month.

Even the bigger 1b+ lures it's done in a day or two tops to move on to the next. Similar script repeating for others.

Nah I recognize it's wrong. And I know how terrible it feels to be on the end of the person getting scammed. Maybe you're right that I am trying to convince myself it's not wrong. When I first started luring the money was to good to even give a fuck about the people. But I guess after being in the game for a while you start to think about the people more. It's so easy to tell if someone is "lureable" just by the way they talk.
But nah, it's not stealing. Stealing is like doing a transaction in the market place and scamming the person. I consider that extremely wrong and I have no respect for anyone who ever does that. Luring is an art (the way I see it), and it's not for everyone. For some morals get in the way, and for others it's just not in them. They are just so bad and arn't like a "people" person - being empathetic/humorous/showing trust and relating to your victim to get them comfortable etc...Not everyone can pull it off. Some people are just to direct. Black n white were they are bad at it.
