if u look closely and turn on ur brain ull realize its simply amazing, just looking at it gives you the "hack forums" feeling even if u dont read what it spells out

and if a brand achieves that feeling then theyre succesfull

Do you mean removing the purple inside of it? I think that's needed because it adds a color link to the forum design. Otherwise the green is overbearing too.

Nope only the grey background in the image, so that If you want to change the logo header to another color the logo.gif/png won't affect it.

That's intentional to prevent you from screwing up the HF experience we work so hard on. Same goes for awards, ficons, and group images. None of those are transparent for that reason. It forces our background color.

Doesn't mean they can't have an opinion about a current design. This is the new Hackforums. Move on from the past. All of this work Omni and team is doing is not to represent the old HF.


Side note: New design is already growing on me. Adapted to it better on desktop 👍

Personally I'm not a fan. It looks a little out of place. Concept is good though I guess.
Think its just because the green. I'm not a massive fan of the cartoonish feel either I suppose.
