Botting

Botting - Worth the risk?

My playtime has declined a lot recently due to studies and I still have around 30 days of membership left. Even though I've had free time I don't really feel like playing OSRS on my main.

I got a minor botting ban a few months ago after botting for weeks and haven't botted since. I really like scripting and botting on OSRS for some reason and really want to bot. Not sure if I should bot on my main though as it already has a previous botting ban and has some notable achievements such as fire cape and decent stats.

I really want to script and get a bot running, but not sure if it's worth the risk. I was thinking of just running a bot for 3 hours max per day with some breaks.

Am I safe or should I buy another account?
If its a aged account bot a few hours a day and switch up what the bot does, if its a new account I gurantee it will get banned in 72 hours, I had a account banned from playing 8 hours legit and running a script to get 7 quest points after all quests completed straight ban.

I've tried that as well and got banned.

But it's like an account from 2016. I'll try it out, wish me luck.
If your account has been flagged then there is no point botting.
Yaaa IMO I wouldn't bot. I used to love botting and was ecstatic about dungeoneering botting because of no chance of bans but once Jacmob came around to stop bots I don't think I'll ever be back botting because I wouldn't wanna risk my account especially since I'm not done/bored with the game as I still care for my account.

And this "I got a minor botting ban a few months ago after botting for weeks and haven't botted since" screams NO because likely hood of getting banned is way higher.

Yeah, I'll probs lay off my hands with botting from this account and try to build a new one just to bot then. Thanks for the advice.
