I've been thinking about this for awhile and i came across an article that said that 99% of the actors (male/female) wear make up i've also asked my girlfriend about this if it would be weird for a guy to wear make up.

What is your opinion on it?

I don't feel entitled to tell men (or women) what they can and cannot do.

Like some people tell men to not show emotions or cry. Or tell them to be big, masculine, aggressive, dominant, etc.
This just leads to insecurity issues (higher suicide rates in men than women) and even rape culture ("aggressive"/"has to prove themselves by getting pussy").

So I argue that we shouldn't project gender stereotypes or ideals onto others because it can be incredibly damaging

Couldn't give a shit less. I can even understand using it for small breakout spots if you care about that kind of stuff, but full face makeup usually gives me the impression that you're probably gay. Still wouldn't care regardless though.
