We have implemented a new feature that awards members for making 100 posts within a 1 week period. The task runs on Monday at about 9am PST. Members who make 100 posts will earn 100 bonus Bytes.

Exempt forums include the Lounge, all group forums, and the Junk. This bonus is for all members.

The first bonus will be done this Monday. Any questions?

I don't think it will be that bad. Crap can get reported and it's not the Lounge. Plus it's 100 posts over a week, that's about 15 posts per day. Not an unreasonable amount.

I don't really care about bytes but love the challenge.
Could you please though make a page which counts this, as it would be really helpful. Even just an informative page which shows total number of posts over the past week would assist in encouraging members to post more.

I can confirm this is reasonable. There was a point in time I was definitely exceeding this amount with ease by providing tech support to people here. It's not easy, but I think that's the point.
