That being said, I currently have over 100k bytes (worth $2k) and a usergroup (worth $4k). Would be pretty silly of me to ruin my reputation over $55 don't you think?

I don't play the game but when you get stuff for free whatever it may be you will feel like you've cheated and don't deserve it.
So, I recommend you instead play the game and earn the coins that way as you may feel better that way!
