I'm not sure why it got removed after the last forum update last year-ish, but wondering if anyone else is interested in that section getting brought back.

EDIT: some extra suggestions to bring back the section:

• Adding specific rules to avoid troll/clickbait thread could affect other sections like the Marketplace threads.
  


• Modifying the posts and bytes per post/thread in that section to avoid bytes farming.
  

I will update the list with any other suggestion i think of or someone about.

lmao why? was it because of all the clickbait thread that made people think it's a thread in another section other than the memes? if so, i think some rules could be added like not faking marketplace related threads or stuff like that.

It was removed due to massive amount of lqp/shitposting/spam. Today it'd be used to farm bytes uncontrollably unless post count/bytes count is disabled in that forum.

No. People used it to boost their post count (and now it'd be used to boost bytes) too much and it was just shitposts.

if such a section was added, bytes and post count shouldnt count. also there should be rules in place to prevent certain types of troll threads

Also, there could be a setting to auto-purge the threads after a certain amount of time.

This would be good for members to allocate their shitty memes to a section that doesn't matter, rather than spewing them all over the forum.

i just updated the OP with the common suggestion that would make that section better. Hopefully it comes back.
