[November] Auction: Xerotic Bot DNA Award - 10,000 Byte Bonus

The issue is BTC going down in price. A lot of people got burnt this month.

Do a raffle!

I don't think that's the issue.
It's true that BTC have been dropping the past couple of days but that definitely was not the case for the rest of the week/month.
Also this award was up for sale days before BTC decreased so much.

I think you'll find whenever BTC is decreasing most people wont touch it.

I have made 0 sales since 15th and I only accept BTC, this is due to the decrease in BTC. The weeks before I was making 1/4 sales per day without fail.

& no. This thread was up on the 18th. BTC dropped on the 14th.

If it was that easy why even having this award auction?
Then he might aswell put up a donation button thread or whatever.
People clearly want something in return and the award sells because it's expensive.
However at one point most if not all big award spenders have the award.

It's definitely a smart idea if OP looks for other sources of income on top of selling the award.

I never disagreed on the fact that people won't touch their BTC now, ofcourse they wouldn't but i don't think that BTC dropping the past 2-3 days is the issue that OP isn't getting higher offers on his Award because as i already said the award was up for sale days before BTC started dropping.

Well it’s the reason why Cam only offered 500$.

Also as previously stated BTC started dropping on the 14th this thread was posted on the 18th. I really don’t understand what you’re not grasping here.

I doubt that point would ever be reached, as "big award spenders" join the forum frequently and only a single Xerotic Bot DNA award is auctioned off once a month.

So far all of them have been bought within days of the auction going live. Most likely it'll take a bit longer this month because of the massive dive cryptos took.

BTC dropped on the 14th? maybe a few percent at best... which is the case for about half a year now, it drops and increases a few percent by the week nothing new.
It started dropping major percentages for the past 3 days now.

6350$ to 5600$ isn’t a few percent.

Been like that for months nothing new.

Fair enough.
However, can you link 1 account created within the past 12 months that has an award that costs 1k?

BTC decreasing 10%+ twice in one week? Alright mate. That’s really normal... If this was a regular thing BTC would be 0$ now.

You literally said it decreased a few percent on the 14th. I think you need to look again.

The biggest example I could think of right now would be a user named Kawen.
He joined mid 2018 and has since donated thousands of dollars to HF.

Alright fair enough but you have to admit it aint like people are lined up in rows to get a 1k award cuz if that was the case people would just purchase BTC at the current price and then buy the award without loosing any funds and you would see the purple donation diamond award alot more often at threads then i see now.

What i do know for a fact is that BTC have been jumping between 5.5k and 7.5 for about a year now.

I'm a very long term investor not a daily investor, short or mid term investor, nothing special happened with BTC for the past year untill 3 days ago when it decreased heavily and until yesterday when it decreased even less then 5k.

Not sure how I’m twisting your words. You said “BTC dropped on the 14th? maybe a few percent at best...”

It dropped 10% twice this week. From the 14th I haven’t made sales in BTC. I’m just stating facts on what happened. I don’t know why you’re telling me your a long term investor. I literally said people stop using BTC when it decreases and this week it’s decreased a lot, twice.

Anyway back to the main point of this thread.

EDIT: You deleted your post..

I actually have made alot of sales in BTC, i don't notice the drop in my sales tbh...
Most customers purchase BTC right on the spot with coinbase or localbitcoins.

Might be your products that the real issue is, not BTC dropping lol.

Not sure where or what you’re selling but please send me the sales charts so I can see that they didn’t change whatsoever.

You think it’s a massive coincidence that I go from selling between 1-4 daily to 0 when BTC dropped 10% and then again. Think again.
