My computer is always slow, high cpu and memory. I suspect virus obviously. When my computer is almost non responsive/ I can access my VPS through the non responsive computer finely, switch over to main computer and again just garbage everything.
I have ran Rkill, checked start up and others newbies things but I can't seem to pin point my high CPU/memory issues.
Can anyone help?
Hello there ! 🙂
First of all;
Are you able to reach the task manager to see which processes are high consuming your CPU and RAM ?
Moreover, is there any unsual activity about your Network (huge amont of packets going in or out of your NIC)? Can you also check your disks activity ?
To access the taskmanager window type :
> Windows Key + R
> taskmgr
> Click on "more details" if you haven't did it yet

why not just rightclick the task bar and click task manager directly? useless touching keyboard for this
for that matter, even ctrl+alt+del is better
anyways, windows taskmanager is piss poor for the job really
try using http://systemexplorer.net/ as a replacement
Human stupidity : Buying something they have no clue about, and then ask if they wasted their money.

Just shows chrome processes running, nothing suspicious.
see what programs are running in the background and how much memory and CPU they are using, open Task Manager
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
You're talking about an RDP when you say VPS right?

It's a habit, I always open things in this way (compmgmt, services, appwiz, ...)

ctrl + shift + esc is the superior method of opening task manager
what os are you running?
what are your specs?
where are you getting your vps from?
Would you mind providing me with a screen shot of your Disk usage percentage? I know Disk Usage is a frequent issue that be have and it results in their computer taking forever to do easy tasks such as opening up a directory or bringing up the start menu.
