I don't know anything much of romance/action but I'd recommend shameless, has a bunch of episodes. One of my favorites.

Black Mirror is pretty fucked up and cool, i suggest starting with season 3 and if you like it then bring it back to season 1 and 2. Also check out Altered Carbon, it’s one of my favorite series, it’s only one season currently and season two is in production.

If you're into comic book stuff, I believe all of the dc shows (arrow, flash, legends of tomorrow, supergirl) are on Netflix America. In Canada we only get flash and supergirl.

They're excellent shows, especially arrow and flash. They can start off a little campy but grow into serious, action packed dramas, and all have large romantic subplots for the main characters.

They also all intertwine, which each show serving as a pilot for the next. If you want to know exactly when in a season to start watching the next show, you'll usually know or you can look online.

Yeah dog prison break is one of my all time favourites, especially first 2 seasons. I'd recommend this as well.
