So I'm in a group a SF was soft purged and as a result I'm in negative 200 bytes was at almost +200 the owner reinstated the threads but my bytes never came back?

Fundamentally this is an even larger issue if say you have 1k posts in a group then its sold and purged will you lose 6000 bytes??

I got -24 only but that was for LQ posts.

I could be wrong and maybe i made shit loads of lqp somewhere and they all got removed at once totalling 400 bytes but I doubt it 🤣

That would really suck. I have hundreds if not thousands of posts in groups. I've always found groups a good place where you can have uninterrupted discussions with members you had the time to get to know well

Well, I've spoke about this once with Xerotic. Basically, bytes are removed with posts BECAUSE if your post was removed there is a reason and it means you shouldn't have those bytes first. But, yeah, this is completely different when it comes to group, I guess Bytes shouldn't be removed when there is a group change/purge.

The group I'm in are planning on changing some bits up so purged a private sf inside the group. I'm sure this is a bug otherwise it would discourage posting in groups.

This is something that no one thought of before. Bytes are taken away when posts are deleted due to LQ but no one thought about other reasons for posts being deleted,

Imagine every member posting in groups having thousands of bytes taken away from them every time the group gets rebranded lmao.

Yeah it's not a bug I think. As Roytoy said, I think it's just something they didn't plan first.
