Few Suggestions

My thread is regarding the login system. Firstly, If you type in an incorrect you will have to complete a recaptcha which doesn't even appear on the first time. So even if you typed in a correct password you still wouldn't be able to login because you didn't complete a recaptcha which isn't even visible. Secondly, I find it quite annoying to have to compete a recaptcha every time I enter an incorrect password and sometimes I can type my password incorrect four times. I think it would be a good idea if you have to type your password incorrect 5-10 times in a row before you'll have to complete a recaptcha.
The point in the recaptcha is to prevent attacks so it needs to block you after refresh.

Try logging out type in a wrong password the first time then type your correct password the second time and you will see what I'm talking about.
If I'm not mistaken, Omni is aware of the recaptcha not popping up the first time. Cba to find his post on it, but if it hasn't changed, must not be a priority currently.
Also, just an idea, but maybe you should remember your password better? Idk. Sounds like a lot of your problem is user-sided.

My password is 30+ Character and I usually type it fast which causes errors. I think not having to fill the recaptcha for the first 5-10 incorrect password would not be very helpful if someone is for example brute forcing but would make things easier for the user.

Yes it would show an error saying that the captcha was incorrect which is not visible and no I don't have 2FA.

The issue is every time not just once or twice.

Sounds like your end then unless they just stopped recently? last captcha I had was no issues.

This is not only on my end as this user mentioned it is a known issue.

Well I guess wait for admins to chime in...

If I remember correctly it is a MyBB issue (the forum software we use). I will see if they have fixed it yet and if not I'll probably fix it myself and do a pull request at Github for MyBB. I haven't personally looked into it but just thinking about the issue logically I think I understand the root cause.

The point of the captcha is to prevent bots from overly attempting the access to accounts.

If you cannot put your password in correct after 3 attempts you need to take a 5-minute break and relax.
I'm setting the login attempts to 2 before captcha is shown. I had it set to 1 in order to require captcha on all logins. It's partially an issue with MyBB but all you have to really do is remember your password and not screw it up and you login on the first attempt. I've never had the issue.
