Change SSH Login Keys

My partner and I had a falling out and I want to change all the SSH keys that he had access to, I use them too obviously.

How do I go about changing both of the SSH keys for my ROOT and secondary accounts?

1. Why is ssh access to root available ?
2. Generate a new pair of pub/priv keys
3. remove old public key from the system
4. Put your new public key on the system

So like create a new public and private key on PuttyGen and then replace that in authorized_keys?

Yes.
And don't forget to remove the old keys.

Aaaand learn to take proper care of your private key.

Don’t ever share it with anyone. Preferably, two different keys for two different devices.
