[Python Hacking] Tuts,Scripts,etc

Hello HF so this is my first thread on my new account my other one was kinda trashy but thats besides the point of my topic. I am quite interested in the actual hacking of python I know the language quite well just having some trouble combining my skills of python with the whole hacking aspect. I have searched around the forums to try to find solutions and have come to find them only relating to python 2 which is well past its time I have seen resources such as violent python which the crypt library does not appear to be working on python 3. So please if anyone has any valuable resources on hacking with python 3 post them here for more members or PM me. thanks again!
YouTube and the search function located at the top of your browser is probably the best method of learning.

Try the following:

Quote:python3 -i
Python 3.6.7 (default, Oct 23 2018, 19:32:17)
[GCC 8.2.0] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import crypt

Post any errors please, also denote that there are some subtle differences and in an IDE they bitch and complain.

sorry I never replied it worked thanks! Do you think that command is the case for all the code I have not reviewed all of it.

Great to hear it worked, generally the interpreter doesn't complain just IDE's do like the, either way we basically run python3 in "interactive" mode and we do the "import crypto" to see if we have the libarary, of course if it fails we use pip to install whatever.

There are some differences between python 2 and 3 so double check the code.
