Is Binance a good website?

So since i might need to have an account that will allow me to exchange crypto-currency with other members in the future, i looked up what sites that has that feature and found Binance so i signed up.

What websites do you guys use? and is Binance a good site? (sorry i'm very new to anything market related)
It is good but it is bullshit in Security, I invested over $100 on different altcoins back in 2017 and I changed my number I cannot even get my shit back.

damn, i'm so sorry man.

What are you currently using tho? and would you recommend it?
Binance is nothing short of incredible in terms of everything they offer. Will absolutely continue to be one of the top exchanges over the next few years at minimum.

"I lost the hardware device used to unlock my account, and it's Binance's fault that I can't get in through their security!"

Write down recovery code and keep it in your safe fam

Their system is not "bullshit" you are just proving how good the system really is.

The instructions may have not been as clear back then, it has changed quite a lot since but it is right in front of your face. It explains exactly how to recover your account in the event something happened, and if you lose the info that is your own problem.

A lot of companies do this. Even HF for example, if you lose your account details you are not gonna get your stuff back obviously

Ok you have a point but its just a pain in the ass in general.

True but imagine how much a pain in the ass it is for top-secure systems in government agencies such as the NSA or others. Haha, the amount of bullshit protocols and policies they have to follow just to keep everything secure is crazy.

But it is because of blackhat hackers and thiefs, people looking to steal your crypto, blame them not the company ;) I think Binance has a good setup, it reminds me a lot of other web-based wallets such as Blockchain.com or others. Their security systems are not the exact same but the same ideology.

Some people have different security measures they need to take, simply put. Some are paranoid, some have a lot at risk, and others just might be fanatics about their security. I am one of those people 😏

At the end of the day though I never trust anything with too much of my crypto unless it is open sourced
