Completed by end of the deal a week ago after numerous edits, provided a web scraper that did exactly what Notorious wanted. About 3 days ago I asked him to finish out the deal which he didn't respond to, gave him 3 chances to pay but he stopped responding to my PMs. I don't think he purposely did this but idk how else to get his attention. He owes me $100 btc for the program I made for him.

He was given a chance weeks ago to fix his scumbag ways rather than being closed. Seems like he didn't learn a thing and is still up to his douche-baggery.

Damn, I thought I was going crazy because he seemed like a legit and nice guy but he just went MIA when I asked him to pay. I was hoping that it was an honest mistake but it doesn't sound like it :(. The thing that sucks is I spent a lot of extra time and effort making the program which he has and I get nothing for it.

Yea I guess I'm kinda dumb for not knowing this stuff, had never heard this before... I guess that's what sucks about being a programmer though. You end up putting a lot of time and effort into something and they just bail. People need to stop expecting the code upfront and pay first, but that seems extremely unpopular. I really did work with this guy though for like 5 days straight of back and forth:

Haha yea it took me a while cause I made a lot of mistakes lol, I still pretty new to a lot of programming things so it takes me a bit longer than average. I mean I was fine with taking $100 as I was more doing it to learn things and build my portfolio. It makes me sad that freelancing is so discouraged around here :(

Ahh, that's fair I been there before. We all start somewhere. If he had some sort of issue with how long it was taking, or the mistakes, he should have made you aware. It is unprofessional to not respond or try to fix things, especially with having a contract it baffles me 😧 All he had to do was message you back and try to sort things, if somebody was working for me and I was on tight deadline for instance, I would let them know if they are taking too long. If i ended up hiring somebody else to do it, and got it completed I would just make the other party aware...and compensate them for their time, not wasting their time by not responding or leading them on so to speak.
