So in my spare time, I have created a clothing company in my area that revolves around cars and and what not.
I have started producing them myself with a vinyl cutter, and HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl)
I can basically make any silhouette / logo you can give me, and can do multiple colors but its easiest doing 1 solid color.


My question for you guys, is what if I opened a clothing company up here in Hackforums, but did CUSTOM orders for the users on here.
I wouldn't sell my own made ones, I'd be supplying you guys with any merchandise you'd possibly want.

Lets say you wanted some Hats for your usergroup, or shirts or hoodies. I could do great prices and fast turn around time for orders. I am already shipping them via my website so I have tons of mailers and can print labels to ship with.


Your guys thoughts?

I think it's a good idea and imho might do well if you have reasonable prices and produce a quality product.

your best bet is to make them yourself. they make single color machines super cheap. if you just use online vendors like everyone else, they will all be expensive and nobody will buy anything.

Well, it would depend on what you as the customers want.
I can do different price brackets, like quality of the clothing.

For example if you want the cheapest product, I would go with a Fruit of the Loom 50/50 hoodie for the lowest price, and print onto that.
Where as to if you wanted a name brand hoodie, or better quality, for a bit more $ I would use more of a quality material to print onto.

I personally use a lot of Fruit of the Loom products for shirts and hoodies and they are SUPERB quality, very comfortable and the vinyl I use is high durability.

I guess I'm going to start looking into some thread designs and will have to start setting up a shop for this.
