Good C++ Book for experienced Java developer

Hello,

I wanna learn C++ because Im interested in writing Bots / Hacks for an MMO.
I have fundamental knowledge in JVM languages and web development but I never dived deep in
C / C++. Can someone suggest a very good e-book or tutorial on this topic?

EDIT:
For someone without knowledge in the specific language it is hard to understand which tutorial is GOOD and covers
all important topics. For almost all topics there are some books which are outstanding and famous for their good teaching,
that is what I'm looking for.

Kind regards,
Cyphernomic
Searching for about five seconds got me this link:

h t t p s : / / t f e t i m e s . c o m / f r e e - c - books /

I felt like being an asshole so I put spaces in the link

Searching is easy I also found lots of links, but for someone without knowledge in the specific language
it is hard to understand which tutorial is GOOD and covers all important topics.

EDIT: OK, I will go for C++ Primer - its the most recommended book, I found.
You should be able to learn C easy. There's less to it than java.

Real question is, why do you need to learn C? Are you trying to do something that specifically requires it?
The primary functionalities and underlying interworkings of C++ and Java are completely different, but their syntax is relatively similar (disregarding Java's class based format). To learn the basics of the language, you don't really even need a book unless you're the kind of person that focuses and learns best from reading, which I am not.

The primary focus points you need to be concerned about are data types, pointers, arrays, classes, objects in general, headers and preprocessor directives, function organization, and general language syntax. Beyond that is getting into, well... past "the basics".

You can get all of that relatively quickly via a zippy Google search. However, as you requested book-wise, I'd say stick with Primer. 21 Days hasn't given the best results from what I've seen, and the standard ANSI C isn't necessarily an exciting learning experience and is more of a reference than an explanation. Nevertheless, there are other C++ books out there.

Edit: Perhaps I should have noted that ANSI C is for C, lol. The C++ equivalent is "The C++ Programming Language" by Bjarne Stroustrup.
