If a recipient is not receiving emails sent to them (after physically asking them in-person) when you are 100% sure that you are entering the email address correctly, does this indicate that the emails are going somewhere else, or your account has been hacked/compromised?

If you're sending from a gmail account; That'd be impossible for the email just to not arrive at it's destination. What's more likely the case is either your email is being directed to junk/spam on the recipient's end, or they truly don't care about your email and are deleting it saying they never got it! The short answer here is change your password and this problem isn't a problem. Go to you gmail settings (gear icon -> "settings") and forwarding tab. See if there is no other address put to forward messages and delete them afterwards. Other than that, if you use some other or even your own mailing service, then most likely problem is on that end. |
