Maybe he helped / taught the wrong person and was viewed as an accomplice, or perhaps it was something he did when he used to do more blackhat stuff and it came to bite him in the ass later

I doubt he got "raided" like SWAT team breaking down his door how you're thinking.

Most likely had a search/seizure warrant from the FBI.
Happened to me thanks to literally just knowing Vinnie and Cyph Jr, dumbass kids actually didn't hide themselves at all.
