Moving Os onto nvme

Hello i am in need of some assistance. I desperately need to move my os from my old ssd to my new nvme. can anyone help me
1. Download Clonezilla ISO. This is a very easy OS especially for cloning disks.
2. 'burn' the .iso onto an USB drive you have laying around (if you are on Windows, you can use a program called rufus for that)
3. Shut down computer
4. Connect both the NVME drive and old SSD into your computer
5. Turn on PC
6. While it is booting, go to boot selection mode (pressing F8 during startup most likely)
7. Choose your USB disk
8. Wait for Clonezilla OS to boot
9. Follow the instructions. Choose "Device to Device mode"
10. Copy from your old SSD to the new NVME.

I repeat, copy from your OLD ssd to your NEW nvme.

11. Wait
12. When it is finished, turn off PC
13. disconnect old SSD
14. Your PC should now boot from NVME disk, with all your old files on it.
15. If it does not, go into the BIOS (by pressing DEL key) and change startup disk to your new NVME drive

To find clonezilla download, or rufus download, use search engine.

does with work with windows or just linux?
This method works with any computer. Windows/Mac/Linux. Data on a harddrive is just data.

it worked but when i try to boot to the drive it gives me an error
1. Did you take out your old SSD?
2. Did you do the device-to-device copy?
3. Can you post the error?

Or do you mean you cannot launch Clonezilla?

i have not taken out the old ssd
You have not followed my steps.

To verify; you have cloned your old SSD to new nvme using clonezilla?

If so, take out your old SSD.

yes i have done the cloning process
Go to boot selection mode and choose the nvme disk. If it gives an error, let me know what error.

it booted but it has 200gb of unallocated space how do i allocate the space
That depends on the OS you're using. I assume Windows? Use a search engine "how to expand disk" or "how to use unallocated space".
