The only books I read out of enjoyment were the Percy Jackson Series. They interested me because of demi-gods and Greek gods. This was a while ago though.
Now i'm mainly interested in science and neurology books. Right now, I'm nearly done with The Moral Landscape by Sam Harris. After that, i'm moving onto Free Will by Sam Harris. Its basically how free will is an illusion and all of our choices our governed by variables and the environment. After that I'm reading Jordan Peterson's book, Maps of Meaning. I basically like books where my mind is opened to new ideas and beliefs, where an idea or concept is explained that i'm interested in (usually science related), or just cool facts that sound interesting (again usually with science XD). I generally like reading something that makes me educated at the end. Not much of a plot/story type of person unless its actually good like the Percy Jackson series as I mentioned haha (Jul 13, 2019 09:26 PM)Exodus. All good books including and especially fiction should open your mind to new ideas 🤝 (Jul 14, 2019 02:29 AM)Discord bot Wrote: All good books including and especially fiction should open your mind to new ideas 🤝 seconded lots of fiction holds deeply rooted philosophical subjects/values and can at the very least give you a new take/perspective on a subject, giving you a bit of empathy.

Funny how you're so interested in reading but can't put together a nicer recruitment thread. Shithead. Eitherway, looking forward to seeing new members. ![]() Sui Generis Owner | Former Leader of Wolfpack / Samaritans / Sociopaths / Sui Generis / Appraisers / PROFIT / Coven
Metaphysical & Occult Books:
The Code to the Matrix - Sevan Bomar The Emerald Tablet Of Hermes & The Kybalion The Secret - Rhonda Byrne As a result of reading this book, it just gave me further insight on Metaphysics, how everything in our external reality is truly and deeply a reflection of our internal reality and much more. This was one of the books that helped built my foundation of knowledge on Gnosis and Esoteric Topics. Being able to read and digest this book at least more then 3 times now, it always gives you a different perspective on how our reality is always changing and this book goes deep into quiet a lot of things that we've just brushed aside. Business & Personal Development: Your First 100 Million - Dan Peña Think & Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki I have more kinds of these books set aside but I would say if you're first starting out on the entrepreneurial journey, it's very important and I say this from experience. Work on your framework and mindset first, if most of you reading this are actually like me and grew up with a family that had a lot of limiting believes and had a mindset of scarcity. Framework and Mindset should be your first priorities that you should work on as an Entrepreneur, find and model entrepreneurs who you feel like that they're at that stage of your life where you'd like to currently be at. Once you can feel and vividly imagine a goal that you want to achieve, then things like "Law of Attraction" start to come into play. Most people assume that, you can sit down on your ass and expect shit to happen to you. Nope. Reality Check. If you are not putting "Action" into what you are trying to manifest or bring into your life, then do not be surprised when nothing is happening for you, you have to act accordingly to what you are trying to bring into your life. It is a pleasure to be meeting all of you and I am excited to see where this thread will take us! - ItsGomezBrew (Jul 14, 2019 11:50 PM)Spaark Wrote: Funny how you're so interested in reading but can't put together a nicer recruitment thread. Shithead. I think you’re confusing reading and writing recruitment

An erstwhile gamer with several thousand dollars in donations and multiple group leaderships to his name, in March 2016 Red Sox was closed after his account, Skype, and BTC Wallet were allegedly compromised and used to scam other users.
"Thinking fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. A revolutionary book that explains how the brain functions by dividing it into two systems of thinking. It really helped me understand how to optimize my thought process and why I think the way I do also why I shouldn't at times.
"The Shadow of the Wind" by Ruiz Zafón. One of my first reads and as of today my absolute favorite. The story of a young man who discovers an author as he embarks on a new adventure to discover the man behind the book. I'm currently reading "Emotional Intelligence" by Daniel Goleman, vol 1 and 2.

Not really around much, but hey if I get accepted, gives me more of a reason to stay around 🤣
Favorite reads The Idiot by Fedor Dostoevsky - I've only read this once, and I can't say I fully grasped it, but it at least gave me an understanding of the conditions of people's circumstance in this world. Might read it again further down the line The Plague by Albert Camus - I was going through a rough period after graduating high school when I started reading this and I believe the story served as an analogy(at least to me) for what happens when one goes through an extremely rough period in their lives, and how during that present moment it can seem like an eternity and one can wonder how in the past life could've been so great. Currently trying to decide on what to start reading next, reading so many I guess 'serious' stuff like what I mentioned above is making me hella depressed so I'm trying to get into different types of literature to take me mind off things. |
