Good afternoon,
I'm a nurse who primarily focuses on truama, I had an incident which occurred a few days ago, prior to a fatal accident, the patient who will not be mentioned allowed this to be used as awareness and education. However the injury shows blood and low intensity injuries (consistent with a mechanism of injury with motorcycle versus car at a speed of 40mph, with a deceleration force of 80mph)
I was wondering if I were to be able to place it in health, with trigger warnings of blood and soft gore, to educate the dangers of these accidents, but also to educate anyone who is thinking of taking up medicine in studies.

Like many teens, I used to be really into gore videos when I was ~15 years old, it became a thing to find and show your friends the most brutal shit you could find. I'm very glad that I've grown out of that crap and the thought of gore as a entertainment now disgusts me. All I can see now is the shattering misery, suffering and grief that lays beneath all those car accidents and cctv footage of child strollers getting caught underneath trucks, I'm truly ashamed of ever having enjoyed it.
You who enjoy watching that stuff should in all seriousness reconsider what you are doing, it's probably a way for you to cope with sadness and insecurity, at least for me it was. Sorry for ranting!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
I'm pretty sure it's not going to be allowed.

Yeah I wasn't entirely sure so I'd rather check before doing it.

I think (but I'm not sure) that gore would fall under adult images, which would be disallowed according to this:
Rules and Etiquette

Possibly - its a touchy subject obviously. My intention is mostly education since the accident within itself was textbook, but oddly took a twist. So I wanted to mainly see what others would do, basically tell the story.

Put it in a spoiler tag and maybe in an imgur album.

The thing is that a majority of people are still gonna look at the images for entertainment instead of learning about medical mumbo jumbo.
I’m guessing No, also really depends how graphic it is?

Entertainment or not, they will have that image linked to that story and perhaps allow for someone to take a moment and reflect before doing something dangerous or preventing preventable mishaps.
Until I hear otherwise I won't post it. There's a significant amount of blood with an obvious isolated break to the knee cap.

It would be best not to post images of such content here. You could allow users to PM you for a link to the images if they so choose. Remember we can have members as young as 13 years old here, so keep that in mind when determining if it's appropriate to post something questionable.

That's good enough for me! Thankyou. I appreciate your help
