Cellphone signal jammer

Does someone know how to do it? I'm truly a beginner on this field

Pretty sure that's illegal af.
I sometimes come around and poke a few threads before leaving for a few months again.

I won't use it on public places but I'd like to try it somehow 😏
Well the could and will finde in in Minutes. And you need to Jamm ALL Bands that would be very expencive.
Not hard. All you need to do is broadcast signals 'louder' than cellphone providers are. Portable ones usually have a short range of about 15 to 20 meters.

so I can't use my phone or laptop? I still need to buy a device

He need to know which Operator the Person use and than the need to Jamm all Bands the operator use. 😝 🤫
If Money not count sure its possible.

Correct. A laptop or cellphone cannot broadcast to jam a cell signal with any reasonable effectiveness.

A cellphone might just be capable of it. Gonna look into that actually. We know that a cellphone is capable of broadcasting on the network and receiving. The question is whether or not the hardware that is included is capable of fully powering a miniature cellphone tower. Any commercial laptop simply doesn't have the hardware to broadcast on a cellphone frequency.

In theory, yes. In practice, no. They can't output a high strength signal by design as it would be detrimental to regular network operation. Meaningful co-channel interference is effectively impossible to produce from a single mobile handset.

Right. I just looked at the hardware inside my phone which has open schematics. The thing doesn't have the strength that would be required unless you want to block about a 10 inch radius of space and even that would be pushing it. Your phone would turn hot af as well.

Jamming cellular isn't quite as straight-forward as one would hope. Specifically, different technologies (LTE vs. GSM/CDMA, etc.) use different bands and frequencies. Most phones support many bands. That basically means that if you have a Verizon phone on LTE in North America you're going to have to jam at least three different frequencies at the same time. If you were to jam a single band the phone would see a bad SINR (Signal to noise ratio) and choose a different band. In addition, you will need something pretty noisy to do it for more than about 35-50 ft from the phone. If there's a serving cell site nearby even that may not work.

Lastly, as some here have suggested, it's majorly illegal to use a jammer. In the past I've been able to do some jamming using a software defined radio kit. If you put enough power behind it, it should do the job. But don't do it, it's illegal. :)

Thank you all for the inputs, greatly appreciated! Hardware, bands & frequencies are the problem

Of course how do you expect to accomplish this with a computer? I don't think anything like that actually exists.

Defintely buy a device its the only sure way.
