Well I quit my job to go to school. Tuition is expensive. Also when i was in sales that is what I would earn a year but it could vary.

I liked taking more time off rather than earn more.

Tech is more guarenteed income with better work/home life balance imo.

True, I know a family member at a big tech company making 200k as a senior engineer. I want that. He can get like a month off paid and he is also in a cheap state to live in.
