The idea is crafty my only issue is that it looks quite a bit too cartoonish(unless that's what you're going for then it's pretty rad)
And I'm not a fan of the white glow you added below the text

I Get what you're saying, and I feel like it may look cartoonish because of how much I beveled it. Also, the glow is behind the text so it is more readable. I fixed it up a bit and updated thread :D

I actually like the way it looks on your avatar mate, maybe you could try to use the pen tool instead of using blending options(or whatever it's called I forgot)
The logo icon is alright. The font work is however awful. You shouldn’t put it in the middle, and should not put a gradient behind.

Try putting the icon to the left, and then the text to the right. Having it the same height dimensions. I believe that will look better.

Or do:

LOGO CRIMINAL
LOGO CREATIONS

(Logo should be one logo but symbolizes that it fits the height of both fonts.

Yea i agree it shouldn't be in the middle, i just made it like that so people know what the actual logo stands for. However, later down the line when i get around to making a website i plan on doing what you said:
LOGO CRIMINAL
LOGO CREATIONS

But for icon purposes, just the symbol with no text is the way to go.

Yeah for sure it is. I agree.

Maybe you could divide it in half for both of the shapes and apply a black gradient with 20-40 opacity of the gradient to make it look like a shadow the big shape make the shade to the left
And the small one make the shadow to the right

Ahh, I see what you're saying, but I've already tried shadows and wasn't a huge fan, felt like it was just too much at that point.

I think I agree with what people are saying here,

however, most of the things you need to improve on from my perspective are self-explanatory if you look at inspiration? The B-level and cartoonish look is absolutely horrible, I'm sorry.

Really simple and professionally designed looking logos.

So If I'm going to rate this, i'll give this a 4/10 for effort.  Emulate professional work, and you will improve quickly.

Keep in mind, logos don't need to be complex or have abstract shapes to look excellent. You need to think behind the meaning of it. What does it represent? what colors to use (color theory). Most designers on this forum just design a logo without thinking about the meanings it can give out. Just because it looks pretty, it doesn't mean it's an effective logo.

To be completely honest, I don't think any of them logos look good at all.
My logo came out exactly how I wanted it to, nothing more or less. I appreciate your advice tho! 🤝

Gotta explain how my logo has no meaning, elaborate.

not a fan of the font used on the logo, too thin for all the decoration it has around it

I think our backgrounds as Designers are far too different, so I won't bother too much. If I say too much, it will certainly spark controversy.

What I was saying is a general statement about this forum, however your logo I can see the 2 C's that it represents so that isn't the problem.

Regardless, I wish you Goodluck, in a few years time you will look back at your work and understand.
