I enter quite a lot of car raffles/money raffles in my country (UK) not sure if it's a big thing anywhere else, a lot of people/companies sell 1500-4000 tickets for a really nice car at like £10-25 per ticket and the number which wins gets the car for the price of the ticket. At least 50% of the time, it's always someone who wins which only has 1 entry, baring in mind some people buy 10-15 tickets.

Well I wouldn't say 15 tickets give good odds to begin with I got almost 700 entries here. I'm at a good 20% odds here.
Plus the odds for the top 8 posters of being picked is at 71%
