Yes and no. Experience is more important. I was just chatting with Xerotic a couple hours back about this as well. I have a co-worker who makes more than I do and has absolutely no degrees. In anything. He makes more than me because he has almost a decade more of experience than I have. But true though, I'll make more than he will in 10 years if I play my cards right.
