Ever have a movie that you just think was awesome but critics and the public basically say it's one of the worst movies ever? Well name yours because I'm going to name mine.
1. Waterworld
2. The Postman
3. Dune
Unsure why 2 of them are Costner movies. Maybe critics hate him or maybe I like him too much. Either way I really liked both movies which were box office flops. Dune I just loved but I do recognize the flaws of the movie. Still, I think it was good.
1) The Room
2) Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
3) GalaxyQuest
4) Teeth
5) Holes
I have a tenancy for movies that are so bad, that their badness makes them good.
I agree with you on Dune, I read the books too and was a big fan. Haven't seen the other two.
Holes, Year One, Dirty Grandpa sometimes i think people forget stupid movies are suppose to be stupid.
Quote:3) GalaxyQuest
Totally hilarious movie.
I really liked the new pet sementary and the new chucky movie, every one else I know says they were terrible but I thought they were decent maybe not better then the originals but still really good.
Another movie I love that a lot of people tell me isn't very good is crank.
I used to love those late 80's early 90's Costner post-apocalyptic films.
1. Another Day in Paradise - Very unlooked heist film featuring James Woods at his finest.
2. Two Girls and a Guy - One of Tobacks best films. Very heady, and features early performances from Robert Downy Jr and Heather Graham.
3. Corky Romano - Chris Kattan playing neurotic, insanely funny when accompanied by a beer or two.
4. The Blair Witch Project
5. Dude, Wheres my Car

I'd have to say I enjoy just a quality drama. I really don't like action films like the Marvel Universe stories or high-violent movies or ones that glorify violent crimes.
I like a good comedy too even if it's a rom-com. I tend to want to see movies by solid directors/writers who are able to tell a fascinating story.
californication
it's a tv show which was banned in whole australia for the intro
it was the main reason i started watching it xD and because it's showtime, i love showtime series

Say no more.
Martin Scorsese
Steven Spielberg
All time favorite directors.
Can't wait for "The Irishman"...
Sadly that's probably Martin's last big movie release ever in his career, he ain't so young anymore sadly :/

People were talking smack about Waterworld? I loved that movie.
I watched Hackers for the first time in years last night. I think that it inspired a lot of us when we were younger. Outdated obviously, but it's still good.

He's notoriously difficult and picky to work with as an actor. Been stated numerous times throughout the years.
You're just noticing what a lot of others are. That being said he's a great actor and has some really nice projects so far, the two you've mentioned so far definitely topping the list.

Not something I really care about. I don't work with him. I just watch his movies. I don't care about an actors politics, mood, personal life or other matters that just don't concern me.
And I don't consider him a great actor either. Just that I've enjoyed movies he's been in and movies he's made.
