I was having a pretty relaxed night until I found a fucking house centipede in my room.

Last time I saw one was a couple months ago and it freaked me the fuck out.
I went to Home Depot and got some bug spray for the house.

After using it I Hadn't seen one in two months, and today another one appeared. Except this time the little shit was massive.
I tried killing it with my sandal but it ran off and I absolutely lost it.

Sprayed my entire house again and the little crack in the corner of my room.
Went out to get some water, came back and it was running across the wall.
I managed to kill it this time but now I'm paranoid and finished spraying the entire house again.

I can't sleep and I feel weird tingling around my body and freak out every 5 minutes.
It's going to be a long night.

Where are you located, I will admit that thing is scary. You can buy some 'diatomaceous earth' and put it all around your borders of your room/home. It will kill them all and keep new ones from coming.

They're creepy little fuckers. Seeing it run across the wall just after spraying is normal. Insecticides kill by suffocating, it blocks the air holes on the sides of most insects (they don't have lungs, like an air intake on a car they breath from motion through holes on their exoskeletons) the bastard was probably suffocating after copping a spray to the face and was running wild trying to breathe.

I imagine centipedes are much the same in how they intake oxygen.

If you've sprayed all entry (always best to do perimeter) points you shouldn't see 'em for a few months if it's proper shit.
