Bumping Question

Hello, I’ve been limited for almost 1 week because I’ve been ‘bumping wrongly’ my thread.

How should I bump my own thread? What should I write?

The bump message was:
“Available for commissions.

Hit me up!”

You don't do so with LQP and you are not allowed to post/bump/delete either. PBD is where you make a new reply in your thread, wait for another post, which bumps your thread then you delete the post. We take PBD seriously and you can be instantly banned and your sales thread closed for doing so. If you want your thread bumped you should make a quality post that positively affects your sales thread or responds to a pertinent reply to another post. Posts like "I'm online now" are not acceptable.

Posts that are not acceptable:
Not a full setence
Add nothing of value to the thread
Are a duplicate or very similar to previous posts (e.g. Restocked whatever OP is selling for the third time)
Deleted and posted again
Or are otherwise LQ and made solely to bump the thread

This is not an exhaustive list, it is just guidance on what is not permitted.

Examples of good ways to post on your thread:
"I have added feature xyz and will be raising the price to new price on date."
"A discount is now available for x package until date"
"Some extra bonus is now being offered to anyone that purchases within the next 5 days"
Simply answering questions from others on the thread using a full sentence or more.

Notice how all of these examples actually are meaningful to a potential buyer. There should be some kind of information shared that is useful. These are just examples; there are plenty of ways you can do so correctly.

Yet there are still lots of people who bump their threads like:
‘Back to business’
‘Still available’
‘Still doing graphics’

And they are not warned, I’ve been bumping my threads with the same message since the first time I made my thread.

Just because a user is not warned to your knowledge does not mean it is allowed. If someone else does something wrong, that doesn't mean you also can. I suggest you become rules compliant immediately.

If you're too lazy to report them, how should moderators know?

Also, for some smartasses out there, trying to bullshit us with these sentences can turn bad real quick if we find out you aren't actually doing what you're saying to do.

It was a blast being on staff. I stepped down as it's time for me to move on. I wish you all the best and if you were hit by my warnings and/or bans, it was nothing personal.

Peace out!

Well, I thought it's allowed bumping like that, why do you think I didn't report them?

Some users' have been bumping the same for a lot of time, but yeah.

Is it allowed for me to bump like

"10% discount available. Open for commissions.

Skype: -
Discord: -"

That would be a pretty poor way to bump as that's the absolute bare minimum effort. While technically that may work, you don't want to worry about whether you will technically be suspended for a month for questionable practices. I would recommend putting in more effort and actually writing out full sentences instead of three words at a time. Try to aim for 15+ words.

If you do it more than once to bump it then no, you can't just keep adding the same message over and over again. It should be something fairly unique each time. Saying "10% off" each bump is still low quality posting
