To start, I do have permission to do this from my engineering teacher. My objective is to change an image on the website to something of my own. The website only works on the school internet. To get to it an ip address is typed in the address bar. I'm not going to do anything malicious (he would know who done it), I just want to test my skills and further my knowledge. The Scan says there are vulnerabilities, but I just don't know where to start. I also included the open ports if that helps. Here are the results from an nikto scan:
 Server: Apache/2.4.10 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1i
Cookie MoodleSession created without the httponly flag
The X-XSS-Protection header is not defined. This header can hint to the user agent to protect against some forms of XSS
Uncommon header 'content-style-type' found, with contents: text/css
Uncommon header 'content-script-type' found, with contents: text/javascript
The X-Content-Type-Options header is not set. This could allow the user agent to render the content of the site in a different fashion to the MIME type
Apache/2.4.10 appears to be outdated (current is at least Apache/2.4.37). Apache 2.2.34 is the EOL for the 2.x branch.
OpenSSL/1.0.1i appears to be outdated (current is at least 1.1.1). OpenSSL 1.0.0o and 0.9.8zc are also current.
Web Server returns a valid response with junk HTTP methods, this may cause false positives.
DEBUG HTTP verb may show server debugging information. See
OSVDB-877: HTTP TRACE method is active, suggesting the host is vulnerable to XST
/index.php?option=search&searchword=<script>alert(document.cookie);</script>: Mambo Site Server 4.0 build 10 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS).
