Since Omniscient closed my thread again, I am AGAIN making another one to reply to this matter.
I will go in order to all the replies I received.
I can however provide some examples.
#1 - In the decompilation article I believe it discussed Orcus's firefox stealer. It utilizes dlls in the firefox installation folder. Arenna's firefox recovery module is much more advanced. It uses a ASN1 parser and a 3DES decryption function and a JSON parser to decrypt the data. This is such a different route than Orcus. Firefox could not be installed and as long as the profiles exist in Appdata it will recover the passwords. This is a different route than any code I've seen before and is unique to Arenna.
#2 - Again, Arenna uses Codedom, Orcus an obfuscated precompiled stub with mono.cecil. The route Orcus has chosen is better for anti-cracking purposes but it will bloat your file and I care about file size greatly. If this software "does not belong to me", why would I go out of my way to do it in a way that is less secure and an extreme PITA? If anyone here has ever ported a VS build to codedom, you know the amount of errors you are going to run into. Codedom is very picky when it comes to syntax and logics, why would I waste so much time doing this? A RAT server is huge, this would take so long. No reason to fix what isn't broken.
I could go on and on, and anyone that sees my code can easily tell this is not a copied project... Would love for Omni or someone else to reach out.
I highly doubt Orcus has ever even obtained a copyright. One would have to be borderline insane to copyright a product like this. I understand this is a busy forum and this is the least of your worries, but this has been my life for the last 8 months and you, unjustly, are not showing much regard. This is my third thread and you are not working with me whatsoever. My GUI looks nothing like Orcus. My features are standard RAT features. You could say Warzone and Webmonitor is in violation just as easily. It seems you do not want me on this forum for personal reasons, and you know if you claim I am in violation of a copyright that there is not much I can legally do to fight it without compromising my identity. If that is the case, I would love for you to simply say so as I take great offense to you claiming something I have worked so hard on is not mine.
I will go in order to all the replies I received.
Quote:Magaddino: Claims that he coded all 20,000 lines himself yet needs help to get a licensing system done.It is not my fault a third party licensing system is bugged. The licensing system implemented fine in any other project but with my specific settings it ran into issues. 961 himself couldn't figure it out and I fixed it myself, so I don't really see your point here.
Quote:Biggy: Instead of a huge wall of text, can’t you show some type of proof you coded it from scratch? Would certainly do you much better than just your word.Yes, I would surely love to. However I would prefer to do this in a Private Message with Omniscient or someone else trusted. The code is private and I am trying to profit from it. If possible I would like to avoid posting private code which I am trying to sell, publicly.

Quote:Jelly: If this truly was your product, which I am doubtful it is and you were as transparent as you claim, you would file a DMCA takedown request. If this software was not under the legal gray area that it is I would have long done that by now. You cannot file a takedown request anonymously. I'm not too fond of willingly giving myself away.
So, if you can prove it's yours (which I doubt you can given the facts that you stated), you would file a copyright infringement request and move on.
I warn you though, false accusations of copyright infringement or failure to procure the correct evidence may lead to purjery charges against you.
Quote:Omniscient: I'm not going to explain copyright law to OP or how the DMCA process works. That's his problem. How can you think that? Sure, maybe it is my problem to understand the laws, but you also have an obligation to state WHAT made you believe this software is not mine? What product do you believe I am copying? You have kicked me out with no explanation other than violating copyright laws.
