Yes it definitely would. The finished system would have:

Launcher application (with news feature)
Single-page server sided news system (PHP,MySQL) with JSON, XML, or HTML API endpoint

And would run you about $50 BTC, with extended support for bug fixes and minor changes (not including complete rehaul)

My thing is, you can make it simple or you can add login system where you control news etc. I do free things a lot but I also value my time especially when it is scarce.

The reason I write in this thread is that I see you trying to do something nice and because you asked for help in the previous post also the things you are looking for are very simple.

I have nothing against your do not get me wrong.I appreciate my time too but to a developer like you this is ridiculous and it probably took you a few minutes to do it because you can see that this guy needs this and that people want to use it on extremely simple things.

It took me quite a while to do just the design part including figuring out what it needs to look like functionality wise and where to place everything, and then figuring out and testing what actually looks good, so yeah everything takes time and practice. I could throw something together in 5 minutes but it'd look a whole lot worse than that.

But besides this mockup or "sketch", if anyone was willing to pay, and wanted something changed or don't like it, I'd re-do it. That's the difference in a paid product and something free.
