Where the fugg are you all getting this narrative that groups "back then" were not buy-ins? Groups have had buy-ins since I joined and they were a lot pricey and didn't come with a sick ass username color, stars, and not even a good user bar. I was gonna say, I thought I'd seen some over the past few months that weren't buy in, and I'm in Boss which Xerotic put together without a buy in being necessary. I think it's more that the buy in threads are happening more and more, and are getting congested in their threads, so that's all most are seeing.

Once you see us lasting long maybe one day your mind will change telling you from now we are not one of them groups where we sell loads of spots then rebrand after a month, Vice groups have been rejected in the past by the owner Omniscient so finally I am the first person to bring this and don’t seem to be giving up or selling for $$$.
It would be stupid to sell the first allowed group I would rather run it and make it the biggest :)

FYI group buy-ins back then were worst, take Illuminati for an example. $150 buy-in all it came with was a userbar. At least groups now you can pimp your profile and show what you love(vice) in one shot.
