Is it worth dual booting Ubuntu and Kali?

I’m gonna switch back to Ubuntu this summer but I thought I would ask is it worth it to dual boot Ubuntu and Kali on the same machine or is it better to use VMs?
It won't do it automatically...
XMPP: pm me
I don't know why you completely changed your post instead of making a new one considering your initial one was about transferring from Debian to Ubuntu.

Anyways, no you should no dual boot Ubuntu and Kali. Kali should not be installed, it's also based off of Ubuntu so if you really wanted some of the tools you could just install them there and call it a day.
Quick answer: no.

Long answer: Unless the device is a dedicated work computer for legal pentesting I would advise against installing Kali on your Laptop. A VM would be just fine. A Live USB with persistence would also be just fine, and preferable. I recommend reading their Help Docs for proper procedures.
yes
I'm following the previous posts as well, not a great idea to install Kali as main/dual boot system.

Besides, if sometimes you need to modify some elements inside the system, making a snapshot is easier than reinstalling a system if something goes wrong
Install ubuntu or i would prefer pop os better then ubuntu and install kali on vm
Keep it simple less steps with more security bro

Using VM will be preferable for me.
The LORD is my strength and shield.
Yeah you can do dualboot just take look on youtube how dual boot works
What's the point, you can install the all the tools you need on ubuntu as well.
People usually used to dual boot linux with windows to have both systems.
It's better to not run both of theme
@OP: No it's not worth dual booting in general if you ask me but I am old fashioned and like to keep every machine in a VM or a bare metal machine with no dualboot configuration. I have a gaming PC for work and games and a thinkpad for work on the move, if I needed to use kali I would just install the software packages on my Debian system or perhaps just allocate a VM to Kali.
