A cryptolocker virus was sent to our computer by someone using the address [email protected]. All our files are encrypted in .rar file.
We cannot send mail to the mail address because its address is closed. We contacted protonmail and they said they closed their e-mail address because it was a fraudulent.
I am having big problems at my workplace. My files do not come back with the data recovery software. Because it deleted all the raw files with wipefile. real files also encrypted with .rar. Is there any way to find the Winrar password? The brute force attacks don't work because it's been more than 60 days and it estimates in hundreds of thousands of years.
Is there any way to circumvent the password by reverse engineering or hex method other than brute force? The posts about the hex editor related words such as IzCo and Uta are fake on the internet. Because I tried a lot, it definitely doesn't work.
