Good evening to all, this was definitely my last resort to attempt to get this resolved. I don't enjoy writing about deal disputes, but I had to get it done.
So earlier today user @The Lyfe was selling me 1 of his several Gamebattles accounts. We decided to speak on Discord chat as it was easier for both of us.
With a few negotiations we came to an agreement with his Gamebattles account for a price of $110 USD.
Going forward with the deal dispute, we finally got things moving, and I had sent the payment and i also received the account info. That being the password and the username.
Minutes later, I noticed a suspicious message sent to another Gamebattles user named "MikaY"
The message didn't have any relevent information, but it was just a basic "hellohello" message. With years of experience with Gamebattles, this message was intended to be used later down the line to find out my new GB username after I'd change it and make it 100% "my account."
I asked him about it and he was all defensive right away. For my own safety, I've uploaded the full converstation between myself and the user and linked it here for anyone wanting to read it.
Just giving you guys a heads up, the seller did contact his buddy "MikaY" and I did get a confirmation of the message being deleted from MikaY's point of view.
Throughout the day, after I changed the email and password of the account, I later logged off and made a new GB account stating in a Staff: Account Recovery ticket that my account got taken away and I was attempting to locate it back.
Hours later, a well known GB admin named Randomology answers back and validates clearly that the information provided was incorrect.
After noticing that, I've contacted the seller on Discord, claiming the false information and willing to give him back the account with a full refund back to my Paypal.
He user was very defensive and kept saying that's the correct info.
At the beginning our of Discord conversation, the user was told by myself that I would dispute the transaction ONLY if these questions and PIN were to be false.
We seemed very ok with it, and reassured me that the account is very secure and he did 100% have the information I asked for.
Once again you can read the full convo between myself and the seller.
PS: don't bother trying the questions and security info, as it's been valided 150% as incorrect
Proof that the user gave me the false security questions: https://gyazo.com/4632dbbff2ae1736e7a686c30971e571
Proof that the admin Randomology verified it as incorrect: https://gyazo.com/cf00b938a33850f0436eab...7742f56e5e
After telling the seller I'd like a refund, he quickly responded as there are no refunds. Basically meaning that he sold me an account without the proper security questions and PIN that were 100% agreed on him having prior to the payment.
He raged really hard and got very defensive stating he would to block me, and also threw in a few insults as to who still plays GB in 2020.
I am just not looking for any trouble, rather it be losing the account, or getting it banned for selling the account.
I just wanted a fair, smooth transaction.
Just giving everyone a heads up, I will try and dispute the transaction and get my money back. Unless he provides me the 100% correct info as agreed prior to the transaction.
This next link is our full full full Discord convo, from start to the end, where he ended u blocking me.
Please take the time to read it all to fully understand 100% where I stand in this deal dispute. The reason I wanted a refund was to avoid maybe him eventually pulling back the account. Even though, he claimed he wouldn't and would not scam.

Thank you, and hopefully I can avoid being scammed 100%.
