Who is OP8?- OP8 is made up of a small group of highly trained individuals in various software and security fields.
- OP8 strives to produce AAA quality products and services to the HackForums community.
- OP8 staff and team members share in all the group profits. (Get paid to be in a group, not the other way around!)
- OP8 members will receive professional training, private methods, exclusive offers, and much more.
Not just another group...
The core OP8 team is a skilled group of software developers, security researchers and systems engineers with experience in different aspects of the information technology industry. We strive to share and collaborate but most importantly learn about how things work. Coming from different groups throughout the internet, our core team has been active since 2001. We have a burning desire to understand the systems that we use most often, to try and exploit them. Not only to benefit ourselves, but to benefit those that use them. We aren't a group of hackers for hire. We are not a political movement or cause. We are a group of people who like to push the boundaries and question everything.
Would I fit in?
That's a tough question, take a look below at some of the things we like to talk about. In general if you answer yes to any of the following questions, you'd probably fit.
- Do you like to take things apart to see how they work?
- Do you feel the need to jailbreak/root/mod everything you get?
- Can you count cards/calculate odds/really good at algebra?
- Do you enjoy patterns? Can you identify patterns easily?
- Are you good at memory or strategy based games?
- Do you find superfluous rules to be a waste of time?
- Do you commonly solve challenges differently than others?
What is OP8's focus?
- Leaks. (Databases, Rawerror logs, RAT metadata, packet logs, private code, and more.)
- Exploits. (Public, Semi-Private, Private, and even 0-day)
- Security. (OPSEC, INFOSEC, risk mitigation, and vulnerability assessment)
- Privacy. (VPNs, Qubes/Kali/Tails, PGP, and other risk mitigation methods)
- Informational Software as a Service (SHODAN, Vega, Skipfish, etc)

Looking forward for your response and it would be an honor for me to be a part of this group. Cheers!
Timezone do you Reside in?
EST
Are you fluent in English?
Yes
What sector are you most educated in?
Coding & Development- I've been a professional full-stack engineer for thirteen years, and have been programming in general for closer to nineteen years. I primarily work in the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) stack these days, though I'm proficient with other stacks as well (including LAMP and, to a lesser extent, ASP.NET Core). I've written many REST APIs before,
I'm particularly passionate about data and data storage, and am proficient with numerous systems such as MySQL/MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, etc.
How much time can you realistically devote towards group activities per week?
I can reliably devote five to eight hours a week. Possibly more depending on the week, of course. I'm generally available and active throughout the day, while at work, too. So it's not as though I'm unavailable very often.
Do you have a github/gitlab or contribute to any OS projects?
I do, but through my primary Github account (linked to my real name, and organizations I am a part of), so nothing I am willing to link here.

Timezone do you Reside in?
GMT+3.
Are you fluent in English?
Certainly.
What sector are you most educated in?
Python 3 (Flask-RESTful, SQLAlchemy, Marshmallow, JWT tokens, etc...), I've taken many Python 3 courses through Udemy (warez disallowed). But I'm going to be honest, I still have a lot to learn. I'd say that I've been learning for about 8 months. I've also programmed in C++ back when C++ 11 was released. I should have no problems picking that up again in a matter of weeks. I got experience with using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. I'm also a quick learner so I have no problem jumping into new projects. Some new skills that I'm currently picking up are the concepts of hacking using Burpsuite & Kali Linux.
How much time can you realistically devote towards group activities per week?
1-2 hours per day (7 - 14-ish hours per week), considering that I spend about 4 hours per day on programming and also have a daytime job. I could compromise with the 4 hours per day I spend on programming, by spending them on current projects that the group are working one. Considering that they will help me with my learning path.
Do you have a github/gitlab or contribute to any OS projects?
Github (@ie-devteam)
Feel feee to contact me through DM for any additional information.
Stay safe everyone!

I love how you talk as if you're the owner or have any kind of impact.
For someone with such a huge ego, you sure are open about avoiding conflict with anyone who will tell you what you really are.

Apologies for combining 2 templates together, but I thought because I also do development and design as a UI Designer, I thought I should do both.
Timezone do you Reside in?
Currently GMT +1, will soon be GMT +3
Are you fluent in English?
Yeah
What sector are you most educated in?
In 1 month I am graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design. I have done a lot of UI Design for startups and medium-sized businesses and I have also provided Frontend Development (SCSS/CSS/JS). Currently I still work as a Freelancer on the side and will soon have a full-time job. I'm purely a Designer focused on designing beautiful experiences and using frameworks like GSAP to create interactive animations.
On a side note: I have written a research paper on future technologies (VR/AR/etc..) for my dissertation.
Frontend: SCSS/HTML/JS
Design tools: Adobe Suite, Blender, Sketch, Principle, Invision Studio, Figma
How much time can you realistically devote towards group activities per week?
It depends on what these activities are. I have a lot planned and will potentially launch a startup after graduating. So why am I interested in this? because I want to engage with other motivated engineers and designers more, I feel isolated, and I would like to learn from other people and hope to contribute in someway.
Do you have a github/gitlab or contribute to any OS projects?
My Github is purely university work, All my work is @ http://www.aashhab.design
Professional Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ameer-ashhab-a2a15a158/
Can show my final university project on request - it's available online but I am not sharing the link as I am still working on it.

Kinda excited about the results although. I see a lot of quality things happening and being conducted by group members. I hope to get a chance into the group so that I could possibly work cooperatively with a team.
Cheers!
