Hi,
I have a small project in VB.NET with the web "WebBrowser".
I tested the links with Internet Explorer but in the "WebBrowser" the page does not load.
I don't understand why in "Internet Explorer" it should work as in "WebBrowser" should be the same things right?
Link test : [adfoc] .us 51032574561469
Thank you in advance for your answer.

Link doesn't work (on here), try to space it out to get around the filter.
Is it a javascript page? Do you have scripts suppressed?
EDIT:
Nvm, found the link

I was able to figure it out, you have to have javascript enabled and you'll have to set a user agent for your browser.
Navigate webbrowser1 with a custom user-agent:
Code WebBrowser1.Navigate("http://#/51032574561469", "_self", Nothing, "User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/81.0.4044.129 Safari/537.36")
Enable javascript in vb.net web browser:
1) Start Internet explorer
2) Go to Internet Options>Security Tab>Custom Level
3) Under "Allow scripting of Microsoft web browser control> Enable
After that you should be good to go 👍
let me know if you still run into any problems.

Is it possible to activate javascript without modifying in the internet explorer?
I tested the code but its nothing [WebBrowser1.ScriptErrorsSuppressed = True]
OP what is your main goal here? Are you requiring users to visit your ad link before they can use your software?
Give us more detail op, who soup already give solution, what do you want to do with that because youre asking how to do it 'without touching internet explorer'.

Sorry I don't know of a walk around for javascript unless you install a different type of webbrowser for .net
There's probably a way around it but the main thing is to make sure you put a user agent. I sniffed the requests and saw it was mandatory to return data.
Good project idea though, best of luck! Hope you can get it working.

Is it possible to use [CefSharp]? and how ?
@VisualSoft
Geckofx 45 ???
I would try to use the WebView control that is in the Microsoft.Toolkit.Forms.UI.Controls.WebView NuGet Package.
You need to have Microsoft Edge (Chrome 85+) installed. It uses that rendering engine similar to how the webbrowser control uses the Internet Explorer engine. The WebView in the NuGet Package works very well!! You can using it in WinForms (C# or vb.net) and for WPF

I dont think I can post links so hopefully someone can edit this but if not thats the link, hope that helps.
Hi,
I found this WebBrowser which works with the # links.
There are files in DLL and I would like to know if it is possible to compile in my program?

If you can share your Project, we can look into it and give you some suggestion based on it.
Without looking into the project, no one can give proper solution.
