Hello friends,

A new guy here is trying to scam people in new way.

What he did to me -
  • He commented on one of post to convo him.

  • So I messaged him on convo.

  • He asked me details for my service.

  • I gave him all the details.

  • When I ased for payment he took some time to create account on Blockchain and buy BTC.

  • After some time He showed me a screen shot that he transferred BTC to me and told me to start work.

  • I was about to create contract with him, but thought to check my wallet once.

  • Surprisingly, there was no money.

  • Still I thought he is a noob, so patiently I tried asking him that no money has been transferred.

  • Then he started claiming me that I am not doing his work.

  • When I asked for transaction details, he denied to give me.



This is just an alert for you guys to beware of that scammer. He is a big fraud. Make sure to check your wallet if some one claims that he transferred BTC to you.

You do know you start a contract BEFORE any money is sent/received right? That is literally the whole point of the contract system...

I think all deals should goes through contracts here , than there is no point of discussion if someone tried to deal with OP .

I completely agree with you Seagulls

But he asked for my BTC adress. And then he sent me screenshot saying that he transferred BTC. At that time I was discussing with him about work and quoting the price.
